Playing with the Flower Pictures

I have been having fun doing computer manipulation of some of my flower pictures. I use Paint Shop Pro 8.0 to adjust and change the pictures for fun. It does sharpen the eye to details you want to manipulate in the pictures. Enjoy.
(Originals are posted as well.)

After a Storm

Actually, the storms went north and west of us and all that was left was an awesome collection of clouds and a rainbow. Yes, that is really the color of the sky at that point. It gave this other worldly glow to everything. Just amazing.

Amazing is absolutely right! Sun 25-Jul-2004 04:29

Here are some pictures from what is left of portions of the old Bethlehem Steel plant in South Bethlehem, Pa. It is a sad reminder of a former age and a different world. By the way- the Norfolk and Southern RR (7th picture) runs on what had been Conrail RR which had been Reading RR lines. Everywhere you look, there are ghosts.

I remember, when Iwas in the steel industry, oh so long ago, Bethlehem was a giant. It's sad to see what has happened. I especially like the shots of the ghost town. Mon 12-Jul-2004 14:58

Mom! Dad's taking flower pictures again.

One of the visits I made in the trip east was to friends in New Jersey. Here's some pictures from their awesome flower and rock garden.

Twice each summer our community band does a Friday evening concert in the park. The first was on a beauty of an evening this past Friday. Here are some pictures I managed to take before the concert and real quickly during a rest or two.
